     The finely divided leaves of this plant give it a fern-like appearance. It's distinctively shaped white nodding flowers have two spurs at the top that are thought to resemble trouser legs or breeches.

     Each erect stem may contain several blooms, each about one inch in size. The Dutchman's Breeches grows up to 12 inches tall and blooms from March to May.

     It grows best in moist woodlands and along stream banks. Empty the entire contents of package in a hole about 3 inches deep. Some plants may not grow and bloom until the second season.
