All ferns are flowerless, seedless vascular plants that reproduce with spores instead of seeds. This evergreen fern has deep green glossy leaves and grows to a height of one to two feet tall.

     The Christmas Fern is best grown in semi-moist or moist shaded areas in soil with a high content of organic material. The rhizome should be planted with the growth bud at the surface.
